Service on the ISSA Phoenix Board of Directors gives you the opportunity to guide our chapter, influence security practitioners, shape the destiny of the cybersecurity profession and enhance your personal leadership skills.
The officers of the Chapter must be general members in good standing as of the date of their election. These officers shall constitute the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors shall manage the daily routine business of the Chapter.

Submitting Nominations for the 2019 – 2020 Board of Directors:
Any ISSA Phoenix member in good standing may nominate another ISSA Phoenix member in good standing for a Board of Directors position. If you decide to nominate someone else for an officer position, be sure to verify that person is able and willing to serve. You are, also, encouraged to nominate yourself.
You may submit nominations in person at the 2nd Quarter Chapter Meeting or via email to: webmasters@phoenix.issa.org by 7/20/18.
Nominees will be required to provide the following information:
- Name and contact information
- Short description of qualifications for the role
- Goals for the role
2019 – 2020 Board of Directors Election Process:
Nominations will be accepted from current board members and Chapter membership until 7/20/18.
Nominee information will be compiled and emailed to all members in good standing by 8/3/18.
All ISSA Phoenix members in good standing are encouraged to vote. Votes will be accepted until 10/5/18.
Votes will be tallied and results will be announced before the Q4 Meeting. Our target date is 10/15/18.
