The Arizona chapter of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) has opened its February 8 meeting to Phoenix ISSA membership.

- Ran his blog, Hacking Exposed Computer Forensics, daily which included a weekly forensic challenge
- Is a Red Team Captain for the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition
- Has his own regular video podcast, Forensic Lunch
- Author of Computer Forensics: InfoSec Pro Guide
- Co-author of Hacking Exposed: Computer Forensics
- Co-author of Anti-Hacker Tool Kit, Third Edition
- Is a SANS Institute Certified Instructor
- Developed TriForce ANJP, forensic software for parsing NTFS journals (also working on HFS+ capabilities)
- Two-time Forensic 4cast award winner for both Digital Forensic Article of the Year and Digital Forensic Blog of the year.
- Releases open source forensic tools via devgc on GitHub.
